Jaimini System of Astrology is a very wonderful system, yet not been popular due to its cryptic nature. There are wonderful commentaries lying in the houses of paramparas and manuscript libraries. Most of the literature available on Jaimini is based on the Neelakantha commentary, yet there are more works like Phalaratnamala, Kalpalatha, Jataka Sara Sangraha etc. In this blog I would like to introduce the rare concepts of Jaimini System, without contradicting the classical works.

I read your article on perils of a wrong muhurta in Saptarishi. I have noticed recently that many folks got married on Nov 29 this year, and it was given as a good muhurta in panchangas as well. But Shukra was both debilitated and in sandhi. Just curious why it would even be considered a good muhurta? Is not debilitation an important factor in muhurta for marriage for the most important significator Shukra? Am curious how panchanga writers seem to have universally approved that day for muhurta. Thanks for this wonderful blog, for all of us outside Andhra who dont have access to your beautiful traditions of jyotisha. Pranaam.
It's not good even in point of nakshatram to lagnam.If guru dasha is yoga to the muhurta lagnam,then after guru dasha Sani dasha will come for next 19 years.so the person may struggle with it.
